Breakfast in Bed Flatbread
Ideal for those cold, lazy mornings
Ingredients:
- 1 bag of Beer Bread of your choice
- 350g Plain Yogurt
- 1 large Onion, caramelised
- 3 boiled eggs
- 2 tbs melted garlic butter
- Chives to garnish
Method:
- Preheat oven to 190°C.
- Combine Beer Bread with yogurt and mix until a dough is formed. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 1 minute or until the surface of the dough is smooth. Divide into 2 equal balls.
- Use a rolling pin to roll each dough ball out into a long oval shape to your desired thickness and place flatbreads on a baking sheet. Poke the surface of the flatbread all over with a fork.
- Brush with garlic butter and bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Add the caramelised onion and the eggs and garnish with chopped chives.
