Mince, Cheese & Chutney Toasted Sandwich
You can adapt this recipe to suit whatever fillings you want
Ingredients:
- 6 slices Barrett’s Ridge Beer Bread of your choice
- 200g mince, cooked
- 60g grated cheddar cheese
- 3 tablespoons Chutney of your choice
- A few grinds of Khoisan Natural Salt and Ukuva Rainbow Pepper to taste
- Butter
Method:
- Preheat your toasted sandwich maker and butter each slice of Beer Bread on one side then lay on the sandwich maker with butter side down.
- Top with a layer of chutney, mince, and cheddar, season to taste and then top with the next slice of bread, butter side up.
- Close the toasted sandwich maker and trim any bread that is sticking out. Cook for about 4-5 minutes or until bread is toasted and golden.
- Serve hot while the cheese is still gooey and runny!
