At True Origin, we’ve always believed that business can – and should – be a force for good. That belief is only possible because of the community that stands alongside us. Today, we want to take a moment to recognise and celebrate one very special part of that community: our founding Impact Partners.

When we launched the pilot Impact Partner initiative last summer, it was with a simple but powerful idea – to invite individuals to go deeper with us, as partners in creating lasting impact through trade. Those who stepped forward early on did so with trust, generosity and a shared commitment to our mission. Quite simply, we would not be where we are today without them.



Their support has helped us to continue placing orders with our incredible producer partners, even in challenging times. It has enabled us to invest in new product development, bring new producers into our network, and keep telling the stories that matter – stories of dignity, opportunity and hope through trade.

We believe in trade that uplifts — building strong, transparent partnerships with producers, creating dignified livelihoods, and ensuring that every product has a true impact at origin. This means doing business differently: paying fairly, pre-financing orders, and investing in long-term relationships that empower farmers and producers to thrive, not just survive.

But doing the right thing isn't always the easiest thing. Our ethical supply chains rely on pre-payments to producers — often months before we receive goods – placing huge pressure on our cash flow. That’s why we launched the Impact Partner Scheme.

Be Part of Something Bigger

As an Impact Partner, you’ll make a regular monthly contribution, with two-thirds going toward supporting our work with producers, and one-third returned to you in the form of a curated “thank you” box of True Origin goods and products from our Friends, from pantry essentials to new and seasonal products and lines you may not have tried before. Your monthly Impact Partner contribution is a powerful statement — that ethical trade matters, and that real change starts with committed individuals like you. Whilst we expect the scheme to be ongoing, we will soon be entering year two of a two year pilot after which we will review and develop the scheme and you will be invited to renew your commitment.

It is a model that blends giving with receiving and helps us build a community of partners who share our commitment to trade justice and producer-led development.
